I'm sure [livejournal.com profile] opulentfruit told me that doolittle actually did exist on the internet somewhere, but I never could find it at the time. Well thanks to the wonders of last.fm I found their page today. I'm going to order a tasty cd as soon, but what I really liked about their page was this map!

Update: Damn, damn, damn. They played a gig in Putney on may the 22nd!! /me shakes fist at the sky.

Futher pain: They were supporting miles hunt!

So this weeks chart looks a little skewed:

And yeah I did listen to lots of Tool this week :) but I listened to lots of recommendation radio and suchlike, so the fuller picture is more long and flat.

My last.fm weekly always make be look like a fad jumping obsessive, it's not true, honest!

So the official new last.fm client sucks, and the old radio player isn't amazing plus it needs stinky libraries (QT), but there is a solution! lastfm proxy is a nifty bit of python which can sit between lastfm and your normal music player (that's Quod Libet for me).

It's damn handy :)

Wow.. Last.fm can now recommend gigs in the area on the basis of my profile.

Thats bloody fantasic!

My last fm chart for last week looks like this:

I can't be having any more of this! So I'm toneing down the supermassive black holes this week. As part of this effort I'm listening to lots of [livejournal.com profile] kingtide to try and scrobble the Austrailian kingtide out of their dominance of the last.fm kingtide page.
