It's crazy how much the UK now seems to have sway over Twitter Trends. I blame @StephenFry for evangalising twitter to British notables who then did the same to their audiences triggering a wash of British twitter subscription.
Now twitter trends is just a running commentary of the UK subconsious. And typically of our island we seem to talk about the weather a lot (as I speak #uksnow is still the top topic on all of twitter).
