Is last.fm EVER going to fix the many-artists => one name problem?

It's really really annoying and sabotages so much of use. Like the way I get recommendations for jazz becuase I listen to the electronic music of the headhunters; or when I hear something cool and new in radio mode but I have no immediate idea who I'm listening to.

This would seem to be an easy thing to throw out to community to sort out, letting people assign tracks to the secondary artists with the same name ( or vote or whatever you could work it out.. ). Come on last.fm sort it out (or contract me to do it <grin>)
