Had an excellent weekend!

First up a session of the misses "Vampire: the dark ages" game (set in crusade-era Jerusalem). I am sure that will be well documented over at dark_rp before too long, but for a playing perspective all good fun. Especially the stealing and hiding of precious forbidden gospels, pretty sure that's going to cause amusing mayhem and possible character death in sessions to come!

Then on Saturday we ( as in Digging the dirt) played the Roadhouse. A few feeback issues and mistakes aside it was a good gig. As we were being videoed and recorded things were bound to go awry! We've never done a Saturday at the roadhouse before, and it was certainly an experience! Not least because the Roadhouse had been flooded the night before and thus, certainly for a while after we arrived it was carrying a bit of a sewer smell...

Sunday was my brother Simon's birthday. So I popped down to Stoney Cove for a bit of a dive. Got a few nice little dives on the board and got up close and personal with some HUGE pike. Then home (via a visit to my grandmother) for a nice big Sunday roast with the entire Higton clan, which was a rare treat!

Oh and I got to complete the before and after on Jenny's pond construction..

A good weekend all round. I could do with a few days off now though.. Oh damn it's Monday :(
