Election night

Another election night! This changes everything! Right? Right?!
Well my feeling is that May, having called this election as a power grab on the back of a huge poll lead, is most likely only going to have maybe a little more majority than before. Hopefully less, but I expect she'll hold on to power. My read of all my available input is that the Corbyn surge isn't going to topple her, he's come a long way, but from an insanely low base. So essentially after all this fuss not much will have changed.
All in all I'm very gloomy about this election. My main hope is that the greens and liberals don't get completely eaten so there's still some small voice of sense. Sadly for the liberals they bet on this election actually being about Brexit but the main parties didn't play that game because it didn't suit either of them to talk about it.
Probably one of the more interesting things after the election will be to see if the Labour party go back to eating their own tail, or if now Corbyn has made some impression on the public we'll at least have a unified opposition.
No actually the most interesting thing after the election will actually be new dead ringers.
