Meditation, Nostalgia
Jun. 9th, 2019 10:35 amFor the first time since I went to the Buddhist centre as a student I've been practising meditation in a more regular fashion. I've obtained an excellent book on the subject which is really helping. So far I'm really feeling the benefits. The hardest thing is arranging to wake up slightly earlier in order to have time to both walk the dog and meditate. I'm sure the more difficult thing will be in about three weeks time when it's getting to be more of a drag.
Actually scratch that the hardest thing may be keeping it up next week when I'm off to Download with Moj!
Posting this I wanted to find my original LJ entry to link from when we went to the Buddhist centre for that day. I couldn't find it, but I had a lot of fun reading through my entries from that era. Also it's fun to compare that time where I was coming to the end of my degree with
kr0n's final exam coming up next week.
Although really reading those old entries it seems amazing that I made it through being a student and still had a liver afterwards..
