Still listening to lots of short-fiction podcasts. Mostly to keep my brain at bay really. Anyway recently I've actually been enjoying a UK one recently: starship sofa. It's quite a different style to stuff like escapepod being more magazine; for example they have more than just a single story in each episode.

So I like listening to random speech whilst working. Currently it's the PvP vs Penny Arcade DnD podcast, which is people who make geeky comics playing DnD with a microphone.

This is quite entertaining. But what really strikes me is how cool it would be to have a bunch of comic makers on hand during an RPG session to chronicle the funny moments like they do:

I can't recommend both podcastle and escapepod enough. They're short story podcasts (like transmissions from beyond) but these are specialists podcastle being all fantasy and escapepod all sci-fi. They're both very good!

There is also pseudopod for horror, which I haven't listened to but I assume is as good as it's siblings
